well i have the same problem as rob: Hi, I’m really liking your plugin, it’s exactly what I need. However, when I type the DOWNLOAD tag into a post, it just returns the text, not the file link. Everything else is working, like typing the URL that should be linked to works and the download comes up. The counter also is created and works right. Any suggestions? please help :)

Hi I wanted to know if it was possible to stop hotlinking to a website using your plugin. Also it appears there may be a bug in the script which resets the counter or deletes the counter log and thus it goes back to 0. Maybe because of to much load the process gets killed on my server resulting in a corrupted log and then so it decides to rewrite the blog starting from 0. Then again I don’t know much about coding so maybe you might know. Thanks for such a wonderful plugin. :)

It should automatically create it – check PHP has write access to your project directory.

Hi, nice plugin, could you tell me how to get the download count working? As far as I can tell from the source I need a writable file in a project called projectname_counter.txt. It doesn’t seem to work at the moment. What am I missing? Thanks.
